If you don’t have anything such as the above that’s delights you … I can tell you for sure – your life is missing something.
At our age, we don’t put emphasis on what others think – as long as we’re ALL IN on it. I was into dirt, growing and planting at a very young age. I recall my sibs running home from school to watch a TV show – I recall having little interest. I still have little interest (and I consider this an enormous advantage).

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE GOING TO A MOVIE WITH MY SONS – even when I don’t really understand it . . . so I’m not that much of a party pooper. Hanging out with kids and grandkids is one of the most amazing joys in life. As a teacher for 10+ years, this joy was expanded as I got to know a group of kids really well … so great to be a roll-model and a listening ear.
Just because you didn’t learn to crochet a scarf in college (yes, I did) – and it was a beautiful, longer-than-standard scarf . . . forest green and navy, in case your wondering. It’s something I’ve wanted to to again – just because it’s been 40 years – doesn’t mean I won’t get back to crocheting. Challenge me in a comment/email.
