PILLAR I: buy the right foods

This may sound simple – but like most of what I mention here – it’s not easy to work into your life.

Let’s visit what you should discard, and not buy again: you know these usual suspects: chips, sweets, breads & the like, etc,

Now let’s talk about the foods you should buy, (they are not ‘on my diet’ foods) – they are foods you can live on day-to day, week-to-week . . . and onward: chicken breast & salmon, eggs everyday, a slew of great veggies such as: spinach, broccoli, eggplant, red bell peppers, sweet potatoes, Fruits, especially the berries. Yogurt, oatmeal and lotsa yummy toppings such as those berries, nuts, chia seeds and more.

Here’s a few that were new to me, but now my house is stocked with these: Tumeric powder, red bell pepper flakes, chia seeds, Quinoa.

There were others in my cabinet or fridge … or purchased from time-to-time: olive oil, black pepper, salmon, but seldom used
